One Direction. Some people just don’t understand why they mean so much to us. They think was are just a bunch of crazed fangirls, who are “in love” with five boys, that a lot of us have never met. They don’t understand why we spend hours waiting for them at a meet and greet, they don’t see why we buy magazines for 10 year olds just to see their faces, they don’t seem to get why it is that we stay up till the wee hours of the morning just to hear their new song. These people can’t believe how excited we get when they have a new video, when they have a televised performance or even when there’s just a new a new collections of photos out of them. They can’t understand why we would buy tickets to see a show only for the opening act but of course they don’t understand. How could they, they don’t know what its like to be in our position. They don’t know how proud we are of these boys that have come so far in a years time. They can’t and will never know all that these five boys have done for us. For me they make me laugh, whenever I am down, seeing their faces makes me smile, hearing their voices makes me act incredibly giddy, watching them perform makes me cry, proud tears. I can honestly say I love these boys. No I have never “technically” met them, but they have done more for me than anyone I have “technically” met has. They have given me something to look forward to on any bad day. They have made me feel beautiful, in a way no one else could ever. But most importantly they have given me a family, that I would never want to give up. Sure we have our problems, but every dysfunctional family does. But these boys have introduced me to people all around the world. They are the reasons I have new friends from Toronto to Honduras, and if I gain nothing else from being a Directioner, I am forever satisfied knowing that I have this 1D family, I’m fortunate to have made what I hope will be life long friendships. I honestly love you guys, all of you, Directioners, Fannies and, yes even Directionators, you are just the little sisters that are pests now but can soon learn:) So no, others might not understand us but theres no reason that they have too, I am happy because I have all of you who can understand. So sorry for this extra long message but I didnt know how else to get it across. xx-Mia
